The New York Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer
2013 collection saw fresh hairstyles on the ramp and at backstage.
Look
#1: Low ponytail
The Christian Dior Show was marked
with ponytails with an edgy feel. Models cat-walked with their tresses being
pulled off their faces in a wet, yet neat, look. The ponytails were straight,
voluminous, and full of texture.
Look
#2: The Wet Look
This is a two-toned texture look,
which demands a sleek, smooth, and straight hair texture. You may need to use
liberal amounts of lifting hairspray to lift up your hair roots and keep
strands neatly in place on the crown to create shape.
Look
#3: Retro Up-do
This is a terrific hairdo from Giorgio
Armani, seen at S/S13 at the Fashion Week. A simple side parting is smartly
enlarged by making a distinct direction on each side. You may need a big, round
brush to lift your hair a bit away from the scalp. This is an amazing lustrous
look.
This look is great for a night out.
Texture is the vital aspect here. It should appear windswept and light weight.
This makes it look cool and easy rather than over the top.
Look
#5: Sleek and Straight
This is a simple yet elegant style that
makes a statement by using the condition of your hair. This means your hair
needs to be in top condition to flaunt this style. The look demands a gentle
blow dry, along with usage of natural-based products that nourish hair.
